š£ The Military and Climate, US Water Contamination and Climate Grief: This week's headlines
Happy Friday everyone! This summer has been a hot one as we all know (maybe not for UK readersā¦). Seeing the constant news of wildfires, extreme heat, and freak weather events - itās frightening and deeply upsetting to see climate change already impacting so many communities.
With this in mind, weāve included a section on tackling climate grief in this newsletter to discuss ways to stay healthy. We canāt tackle these issues without a clear mind and motivation, so if youāre feeling worried, hopeless, or upset about the climate crisis, scroll down to āAdapting to The Anthropoceneā to read more.
Other stories in the news this week include a spotlight on the military after politicians in the UK warn that operations will have to adapt to climate change. On that note, weāve included some related articles about how the military will help societies adapt to climate change, how they are preparing to adapt themselves, but also how they are highly responsible for causing it.
Weāve also got loads of Startup News in this issue to help founders and entrepreneurs learn and grow - enjoy!
